Lou Israel has over 10 years of improvisation experience. He has studied at Second City and trained with Bruce Hunter, Sears & Switzer, and Michael Gordin Shore, among others.
Lou has been acting for over 30 years. He has performed on stage as part of the Toronto Fringe and has appeared in many TV shows, including Fear Thy Neighbour, Bizarre Murders, and Nowhere to Hide. He co-starred in CNN’s Race for the White House and starred in 16 And Ready To Roll, which was showcased at the Cannes, London and Toronto short film festivals.
Most recently, Lou starred in the award-winning short film, Sweet Revenge, which was featured at Just for Laughs in Montreal and won the Just for Laughs Eat My Shorts contest (in association with Kevin Hart’s Laugh out Loud Network).
Lou has guested on Hunter’s Me, You And Us sketch / improv showcase, and does the occasional stand-up set at Toronto-area comedy clubs.
